STAKING
Introduction to Staking
Staking represents a fundamental component of the Gensler Gangster ecosystem. Through staking, users can earn GGC token rewards, and GG's NFT. This section delves into the mechanics, benefits, and intricacies of staking within Gensler Gangster.
Staking Mechanism
Users will be able to stake their GGC tokens directly on the Gensler Gangster website after securely connecting their wallets. The staking mechanism operates as follows:
Allocation: Users decide the amount of GGC they wish to stake, with options to allocate portions specifically for betting.
Rewards: 15% of the total GGC supply is dedicated to staking, providing consistent incentives for users to stake their tokens.
Un-staking: Users can un-stake their tokens at every 7 days after network launch, providing flexibility and control over their investment.
Locking Period: A staking locking period lasts 7 days. When a user stakes their tokens they are locking their tokens in the staking pool and earning APY rewards over a 7 day period. The user can either un-stake their tokens at the end of the 7 day period or leave them in the pool and continue to earn APY.
Staking withdraw: Partial withdraws from the staking pool are not supported. If a user wishes to withdraw their tokens from the staking pool, they must withdraw all tokens and will no longer be eligible to receive APY rewards on their token supply. If the user elects to stake their tokens again, it would be subject to a locking period and the APY rewards would resume.
Earning Passive APY
One of the primary attractions of staking GGC is the opportunity to earn passive Annual Percentage Yield (APY):
Interest Generation: Staked tokens generate interest over time, rewarding users for their long-term commitment to the ecosystem.
Stability: By encouraging users to stake GGC, the GenslerGangster ecosystem fosters stability and reduces market volatility.
Community Engagement: Passive earnings incentivize users to remain engaged with the platform, even outside of active betting on battles.
